    We will be married at St. Vincent de Paul, a historic church in Lincoln Park. Please plan to be in a seat by 2:40 so you can settle in before the ceremony begins at 3:00. It is Memorial Day weekend, so give yourself a little extra time if you are driving or taking a car across the city.

    The service is the start of the day — after we leave the church, everyone heads over to Salvatore’s for the rest of the evening. There is no shuttle between venues; the two are about a mile apart, roughly a 20-minute walk.

    Before cocktail hour

    Until 5:00, guests are welcome to stop by Galway Arms for a quick drink before cocktail hour begins.

    Parking

    There is limited parking at the church. Keep in mind that street parking nearby is limited as well.

    Dinner, drinks, and dancing at Salvatore’s. Cocktail hour begins as guests arrive around 5:00, with dinner to follow. If you are coming from the church, it’s about a mile away — a short drive, or a 20-minute walk if you’d rather stretch your legs between events.

    Formal attire for the ceremony carries through here. Get ready for a good time — we’ll have plenty of food, drinks, dancing, and, of course, lots of celebrating. We can’t wait to have you there and celebrate with you all night long before heading around the corner for the after party!

    Parking

    Salvatore’s has parking available for reception guests. Please note that all cars must be moved from Salvatore’s by 10:15 PM. Rideshare drop-off is easy on Arlington Place if you would rather not drive between venues.

  3. Inside the Galway Arms

    When the reception winds down, we are heading around the corner to Galway Arms, a neighborhood Irish pub on Clark Street. Come as you are — no need to change. We will be there from 10:00 on, for anyone who wants another drink and a little more of the night.

    It is a short walk from Salvatore’s, so most people will leave the reception on foot. If you are ready to call it, that is equally welcome — thank you for spending the day with us either way.
